The application process has 6 steps.

Please select “The 15th Symposium on Micro-Nano Science and Technology ” at the symposium selection.

[Step 1]Selection of a category, and description of title and abstract (250 characters)
Please note that the selected category might be changed in the final program.

[Step 2]Description of author affiliation

[Step 3]Designation of authors / co-authors
Please fill in your membership number and date of birth. If you are in the process of enrollment to The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers, please fill in a temporary registration number that will be sent by an email at the moment of registration.

Symposium Proceedings

• The proceedings will be distributed in a downloadable format to symposium participants, with the release date set for one week before the symposium (November 18). If you plan to file a patent, please be careful for the release date. There will be no printed version of the proceedings available.
  
• The transfer of copyright for proceedings manuscripts to the organizing committee is not required.
• Since the proceedings will not be posted on J-Stage, submission of abstracts is not necessary.

Important Notice

• Since April 2017, eligibility to present at the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) has been limited to individual members (regular and student members) of the JSME. Outstanding presentations and poster presentations given by JSME members will be considered for the JSME Young Excellent Presentation Fellow Award, the Excellent Presentation Paper Award, the Young Excellent Presentation Award, and will be awarded at a later date. If you are not a member of the JSME and wish to present, please complete the membership application on the registration page before submitting your presentation application. However, members of the supporting organizations listed below that have reciprocity agreements with the JSME (*) or presenters recognized by the organizing committee can present their work on the same terms as JSME members. (Please note that only JSME members are eligible for the aforementioned awards.) Additionally, if you are registering for attendance only, all members of supporting organizations can participate at the JSME member price.

• If you indicated 'in the process of membership application' when applying for a presentation, please register your official membership number on your presentation application page once the number has been issued.
• The acceptance of presentation applications is at the discretion of the organizing committee.
• All presentations are planned to be poster presentations. Additionally, flash presentations are also planned to be incorporated. The presentation format will be communicated along with the acceptance notification.
• Presenters are requested to register for participation in the Symposium on Micro-Nano Science and Technology.
• The languages used will be Japanese or English.
• This symposium will be held jointly with the The 41st Sensor Symposium on Sensors, Micromachines and Applied Systems", "The 16th Symposium on Integrated MEMS Technology", and "The 50th CHEMINAS".

   Rarefied gas effect, simulation of semiconductor process, micro bubble, image measurement of micro / nano flow, micro pump etc.

   Nanoscale heat transfer, nanotube / wire, micro bubble, micro chemical analysis, micro energy etc.

   MEMS technology, micro / nano machine processing technology, surface modification, laser processing etc.

   Sensors, actuators, biomanipulation, etc.
