PUBICATIONS INFORMATION
- What is the Conference Papers on CD or DVD?
- This is a collection of papers that are ‘scheduled’ to be presented on site at the conference. This is not the formal conference proceedings. The formal conference proceedings would be processed and would make available on the website after the conference concludes and all “No-Show” papers are removed.
- Is there help or guidance in preparing my final paper/presentation?
- Yes. Refer to the following page for various topics.
TECHNICAL PRESENTATION INFORMATION
- Where/when will my presentation be?
- The conference organizing committee will prepare the final schedule of presentations. It is expected that the final schedule of presentations will be posted to the conference website approximately 6-8 weeks prior to the start of the conference.
- How long will my presentation be?
- Each presentation should be no more than 20 minutes including Q & A.
- How many papers will be included in each session?
- Sessions may vary in terms of paper number, however there will be 6 papers maximum per session.
- What type of equipment will be included in each room?
- Each technical session room will include an LCD Projector and screen (microphones will be available for larger rooms).
- Presenters are responsible for bringing his/her own laptop.
- Alternately, if a presenter confirms that another person in the session has a laptop that can be used, he/she can bring a memory stick with the presentation on it.
- What is the Presenter Attendance Policy?
- According to the presenter attendance policy of ICONE23, if a paper is not presented at the Conference, the paper will not be published in the official archival Proceedings, which are registered with the National Institute of Informatics.
It will also not be abstracted and indexed, and may not be cited as a published paper.

- The conference is scheduled to take place May 17-21, 2015 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
- What are the details regarding the hotel?

- Do I need a visa to attend this conference?

In addition to a valid passport, some foreign nationals are required to obtain a visa, issued by the Japanese Embassy in your country, to enter Japan.
JSME will issue an invitation letter for the participant of ICONE23 who need it for visa application.
