The Kanto Branch Outline

The Kanto Branch of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers is the largest branch in the Society. Its mission is to serve its membership who live in the local area and to assist the local society. Moreover, the Kanto Branch is undertaking special events shown below in order to raise the general public interest in the technology of the field of mechanical engineering.

* Lectures, seminars, technology exchange meetings, factory tours, etc. for its members
* Civic forums and lecture meetings for the local community
* Contests, exhibitions, and factory and university tours for the elementary, junior high, and high school students and their parents
* Support for the student member activities
* Cooperation with events organized by the technical divisions
* Commendation activities
