Surface grinding and cylindrical grinding machines are among the most important machine tools in the final process of machining machine parts. The PSG-6B model was the first surface grinding machine manufactured by Okamoto Machine Tool Works in 1953. This machine is a historical machine tool that supported the development of the machine industry during the period of rapid economic growth in Japan. Its solid accuracy realized precision machining in the 1/1000 mm order, and it was the machine that pioneered the basic structure of today's surface grinding machines, including the use of hydraulic cylinders for the table drive system.
