Author Information

Submission of presentation materials

All presenters are requested to submit presentation materials in addition to their manuscript so that attendees to On-demand MoViC 2020 Conference can understand submitted papers well. The presentation materials should be submitted according to following manners.

  1. PowerPoint slides : Presenters submit their presentation slides (AT LEAST ONE PAGE) via "Conference Paper Managing Page (CPMP)". Log in to the CPMP and then, you can click "Camera-ready Preparation" button to proceed to "Preparation for Final Manuscript" page. Then, you can upload your final manuscripts. The format of slides should be PDF, not "ppt" nor "pptx". To convert PowerPoint slides into PDF, use "Export" command in "File" menu. The maximum size of PDF should be less than 4 MB. The slides should be uploaded before Oct. 23th.
  2. Presentation movie (Option) : Presenters may submit their presentation movie to "MoViC 2020 Conference Site." The movie format should be "mp4" and the maximum allowable size is 100 MB. Presenters should make presentation within 7 minutes. To make discussion easy, tables, figures, flips and slides should be numbered and titled property, the site would be opened in November. Upload information would be provided. The presentation movies should be uploaded by November 23rd.

Registration to MoViC 2020 conference

Besides submission of papers and presentation materials, all presenters and audience are needed to make their registration to MoViC 2020. The registration fee is 10.000 JPY (Member), 12,000 JPY (Non-Member) and 2,000 JPY (Student), respectively. Click "Conference Registration" Tab from the Top page of MoViC 2020 site. The link to "Registration site" is opened automatically. First, they are requested to open their account. Then follow the direction to complete payment procedure. Log in ID and Password would be announced after payment. Registration site would be opened by the end of the On-demand conference. To enjoy the On-demand conference, you should finish your payment by the end of November for few days are needed to give access right to the registrants.
For authors: To activate your papers and presentations so that audience (and yourself) can access to your submission, AT LEAST ONE OF THE AUTHORS MUST MAKE REGISTRATION.

Registration site has been opened.
After the registration is completed, it takes about 24 hours to access the on-demand conference site.

Attendance to On-demand MoViC 2020 conference

The On-demand MoViC 2020 Conference site would be opened December 8th. Registrants can access to all papers and presentation materials uploaded by registered authors. Presenters and audience can enjoy discussion via gNotice boardh of the On-demand Conference site. Registrants can download the all manuscripts instead of Proceedings (Presentation materials - slide and movies - are excluded).

Download template to make abstracts

The number of pages per abstract is 2 or less. Download the Abstract Template and edit your abstract according to the instructions on the template. The template is provided in MS-Word format while your abstracts should be submitted in PDF format. The data size should be 4MB or less.

Open your User Account before submitting abstracts

Prior to submitting the abstracts, you should open your own account on the Conference Paper Managing Page. The account would be used to organize your submission, while MoViC 2020 Program Committee will handle subsequent communication with you according to the information registered on your account.
Procedure to open your account is as follows. DO NOT USE gBackh button of your browser while you are on the Conference Paper Managing Page.

  1. Access to the Conference Paper Managing Page and click the link gCreate New User Account.h
  2. gUser Account Creationh page is opened. Type your E-mail Address and submit it.
  3. Edit your personal information (E-mail address, Title, Name, Affiliation, Address, Zip code, Country, Phone number and Password) according to instructions and send it.
  4. Confirm registered information and continue.
  5. You may register your gLogin Nameh (optional). Click gCreate Accounth to establish your new account.
  6. Your ID is shown. Now your new account is opened.
Once you open your own account, you may edit your submission (registered information) and view uploaded abstracts and papers of you on your User Page. All consequent publishing process would be organized on this site. You should keep your own login name, ID and password.

#PROVISO: The Conference Paper Managing Page is secured and encrypted. If you use gFirefoxh browser, though, its security might be doubted due to unidentified reason. Trust us.

Submit abstract

All authors can submit their abstracts through Conference Paper Managing Page. Procedure to submit your abstracts is as follows. DO NOT USE gBackh button of your browser while you are on the Conference Paper Managing Page.

  1. Access to the Conference Paper Managing Page and log in by using your User ID or E-mail Address of your registered account.
  2. Click the link gNew Submission.h
  3. Register your Paper Title, Affiliations of all authors, all Authorsf names, Categories and Keywords of your paper according to instructions.
  4. Confirm registered information and save it.
  5. Refer the PDF file of your abstract and upload it.
You may view your submission (registered information) and abstracts on your User Page. If you want to replace your abstract, just upload modified PDF file. The old file is replaced with the new one.

Download template to make full papers

The number of pages per full paper is 4-12. Download the Full Paper Template and edit your paper according to the instructions on the template. The template is provided in MS-Word format while your paper should be submitted in PDF format. The data size should be 4MB or less.

Submit paper

As shown in gImportant Dates,h the acceptance notifications would be sent to all registrants on February 7th. All authors of the accepted abstracts is expected to submit his own paper through Conference Paper Managing Page by April 30th, 2020. The number of pages per paper should be 4-12 pages. The template of paper and instructions would be uploaded to this site and paper submitting pages on the Conference Paper Managing Page would be opened by March 20th, 2020.

Maximum number of acceptable abstracts and papers per one account

The number of acceptable abstracts per one account is ONE in general, for each participant is allowed to make ONE presentation at the MoViC 2020 conference in general, also. Namely, all those who want to make presentation in MoViC 2020 should open his own account and submit his own abstract and paper in general.
However, taking circumstances of some registrants (e.g. university professors supervising multiple graduating students) into consideration, the maximum number of acceptable abstracts and papers per one account is set to THREE on the Conference Paper Managing Page of MoViC 2020, respectively.
Program Committee hopes all registrants to understand the general principle, to be faithful to the extent possible, and try to reduce the number of the abstracts and papers registered to one account by inviting another participants as registrants.

Participation registration fee

Participation registration fee is required for all conference participants. Registration fee differs depending on the registration date (TBD before July 31th or later) and participantsf qualification (Member, Non-member, Student).

    Definition of "Member" differs depending on the participants' residential area, namely Domestic (inside Japan) or Overseas countries.

    Full society member or student member of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) and related societies in cooperation to JSME.

    (Overseas countries)
    Full society member and student member of related societies to JSME.

    Examples of such societies are as follows:

    • Korean Society for Noise and Vibration Engineering (KSNVE)
    • Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES)
    • American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
    • Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE)

    and other academic societies over the world.
