Submission
Paper Submission:
Papers must be formatted according to the templates given below and submitted electronically through the EasyChair web site by the “Paper submission deadline” specified in the “Important Dates” of iDECON/MS 2023 web site (see the instructions on online submission).
Accepted papers will be included in the conference preprints without copyright transfer agreements. They will be provided only to all registrants of the conference.
In addition, accepted and presented papers the authors of which have agreed to transfer the copyright to JSME will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be provided to all registrants and also distributed/sold to others.
Language:
English is the working language of iDECON/MS 2023.
Requirements for Electronic Files:
Papers should be submitted electronically in PDF file. Make sure that all fonts used in the paper are EMBEDDED. A way to check this:
(1) Open your PDF file in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
(2) “File” -> “Properties” -> “Fonts” (i.e., from the “File” menu, select “Properties”, and from the “Document Properties dialog box, click on the “Fonts” tab.)
(3) On the fonts tab, “Embedded” or “Embedded Subset” must appear next to each font.
Formatting Rules:
The manuscript should be prepared using the template of iDECON/MS2023, in 2-4 pages for “short paper”, or 5-10 pages for “regular paper”. File size is limited to 3 MB in PDF. Do NOT change headers and footers in the template.
Templates for Papers: (Revised!)
Due to the shift to a hybrid mode, the template files have been revised.
When you prepare a camera-ready manuscript, please use this revised version in which the header has been updated.
