学術誌の価値向上・掲載件数の増加のための投稿規定の改訂について

編修理事会
本年度の取り組み方針として「学術誌の価値向上と掲載件数の増加」を掲げており、編修理事会では検討を行ってきました。目下、投稿・掲載件数の減少が見られますが、現行の投稿規定の下では研究発表講演会で発表された研究発表原稿を本会学術誌へ投稿することに制約があり、これが本会学術誌の掲載件数を低下させている要因の一つと考えております。これを踏まえ、講演会で発表した研究内容を和文誌に投稿しやすくするために、投稿規定を改定いたしました。これにより、和文誌の掲載件数増加と講演会の発表件数の増加という相乗効果が期待できます。英文誌の投稿規定（Submission Rules）に関しましては、インパクトファクター（IF）が付与されていない雑誌についてはIF取得を最優先に、すでに付与されている雑誌については値を上げるために、既発表の研究発表論文に新たな知見が加わっていて原著とみなせることを条件とするなど、未公開・未投稿の条件を和文誌のものとは変えております。ご理解いただきますよう、お願い申し上げます。

| 第３条 投稿する原稿は、著者および共著者の原著であり、原稿受付の時点で、未公開であり未投稿でなければならない。
但し、以下の全てに該当する場合は、未公開として取り扱う。 ・本会に著作権が譲渡された研究発表論文が原著となる場合。 ・本会主催または共催の講演会やシンポジウム等を核として本会学術誌において特集号を組む場合。 ・当該掲載論文に発表済であることが明記されている（原著情報を記載する）場合。 また、別に協定等により、その扱いが定められている場合は当該協定等に従う。 |

| Article 3. Manuscripts submitted shall be the original work of the author and co-authors and should be unpublished and unsubmitted at the time of acceptance. If a manuscript falls under any of the following, it is treated as unpublished:
・When the research publication paper for which the copyright is assigned to the Society becomes the original work ・If organizing a special issue in the Society’s academic bulletin centered on the lectures and symposiums sponsored or cosponsored by the Society ・When the fact that it is already published (description of the original publication information) is clearly stated in the publishing paper In addition, if the handling is stipulated separately by agreements, those agreements shall be followed. |

However, if the copyright has been transferred to the JSME and the manuscript is presented at a meeting hosted or co-hosted by the JSME without prior reviews, the manuscript may be submitted as an original paper with new knowledge added to the content. |
