Notification of tentative acceptance based on abstract:April 30, 2007
Deadline of camera-ready manuscript submission:May 31, 2007
Notification of paper acceptance based on camera-ready manuscript:July 9, 2007
Deadline of final camera-ready manuscript submission of requested papers:August 6, 2007












Application:
An abstract of about 400 words in English in one page of A4 size is required for every paper. All abstracts must include

  1. the title of the paper,
  2. names and affiliations of the corresponding author and co-authors,
  3. full contact address,
  4. phone and facsimile numbers,
  5. E-mail address,
  6. concise statement of objectives, clear description of achieving the objectives, precise conclusions of the findings and
  7. key words of the covered areas.
  8. One of organized sessions or technical topics should be specified in the abstract.
The first author who is eligible for the outstanding young researcher award is recommended to write his or her birthday. The application form with the abstract formatted in PDF should be submitted to the following E-mail addresses no later than March 31, 2007: lem21.jsme@gmail.com, LEM21 Program Committee, Kyushu Institute of Technology

Paper submission:
Technical papers should be written in English and 4 or 6 pages with text, figures, tables and references. Under the permission of the LEM21 Program committee, up-to 8 pages would be accepted. The author's instruction for paper preparation would be open in the web site below. Excellent papers would be awarded and recommended to the submission to the International Journal of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers. The acceptance of their papers would be decided based on different reviewing process.

Conference registration fee:

Regular: Early registration, before August 6, 2007   50,000-yens
Late registration, after August 6, 2007 60,000-yens
Student:With banquet 20,000-yens
Without banquet 12,000-yens






The registration fees except for "Student without banquet" will cover all sessions of the conference, the proceedings, refreshments and banquet. Registration fee paid is never refunded. The presenter of a conference paper must complete the registration along with the appropriate payment before August 6, 2007. An accompanied person is invited to the banquet.
