Introduction

What is the Kyushu Branch?

The Kyushu Section of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers was established in 1947 to provide various services to members residing in the seven prefectures of Kyushu and Okinawa.
As of February 2022, the number of members in the jurisdiction of the Kyushu Branch is 2,389.
The main activities of the Kyushu Section of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) are annual lectures, Section Forums, events related to Machinery Day, seminars, tours, exchange meetings, events related to student associations, and information dissemination via the web. Some of them are organized by the entire Chapter, while others are organized by each region (prefecture).

The student association supports research presentations, tours, and other mechanical-related events at school festivals.

Organization of the Kyushu Branch

The planning and implementation of the above-mentioned activities are carried out by the Executive Committee, the Council of Commerce, and the following committees.
In addition, the Kyushu Student Association, consisting of student members, conducts activities.
