In 2015, the JSME International Union was inaugurated after recruiting engineers and foreign students within Tokyo prefecture, and ideas were shared. First, a place to exchange opinions was established. In terms of activity, with the internationalization of the whole Society in mind, the International Union will, among others, have special members organize information sessions about job hunting, help carry out internships, provide a forum to exchange with the Japanese business world, and organize an International session during the Society’s annual meeting.

In order for the society to be attractive to foreign engineers, one of the key measures is to create a meeting place for engineers and researchers in mechanical engineering open to the world.
