－Campus and Lab Presentations from Researchers Studying Abroad (1) UC San Diego－

JSME International Union (JSME IU)では、学会グローバル化への取り組みの一環として、在外研究者による海外における研究の機会に関する会員限定のセミナーを企画しました。また、気軽に参加できるように、Web会議システムを利用したコンパクトなセミナーとしました。

海外での研究の機会は、グローバルな人材の形成、海外研究者の深い交流など、今後のキャリア形成の一助となると考えますが、資金面、現職・学業との両立など不安な面が多々あるかと思います。そこで、現在、在外研究をされている会員から、Web会議システムを利用して、現地から研究内容や在外研究の経緯を紹介頂くセミナーを企画いたしました。在外研究者からの新鮮な体験談をリアルタイムで聞けるまたとないチャンスです。Web会議システムに登録可能な人数は限りがありますので、是非お早めにお申し込み下さい。

JSME International Union (JSME IU) is organizing a seminar for JSME members on research opportunities overseas. In addition, a compact seminar using a web conferencing system has been adopted so that participants can participate easily.

Although overseas research opportunities help to develop future careers, by promoting the formation of global human resources and deepening exchanges with overseas researchers, there are still many unsettled issues, such as funding and how to manage both one’s present position and one’s studies. We are planning a seminar from members who are currently conducting overseas research using the Web conferencing system to introduce their research and provide some background on overseas research. This is a unique opportunity to listen to fresh experiences from overseas researchers in real time. The number of people that can be registered in the Web conference system is limited, so please apply as soon as possible.
