The 2016 M&M International Symposium for Young Researchers will be held at Stony Brook NY, USA.
The purpose of this international symposium is to exchange information, explore new research opportunities and promote friendship among young researchers from various fields of engineering and science.
This will be the third such symposium hosted by Materials and Mechanics Division of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (MMD-JSME).
The first symposium was held in Shirahama, Wakayama, Japan in 2008 and the second symposium was held at California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA in 2010.
This symposium focuses on all aspects of mechanics of materials.
Every young researcher is encouraged to attend this symposium to exchange ideas and start international collaborative research.Call for papersAuthors wishing to make presentation(s) should send a short abstract (maximum 300 words), not later than January 31, 2016, to the Symposium Secretariat by email (mmdconf16-2@jsme.or.jp).
