- JSME Medals and Awards -
To encourage
research activities and the development of mechanical engineering, the
Society has since 1957 awarded JSME Medals to the best papers in each field
and for developing new technologies or machines. Furthermore, the JSME
Distinguished Engineers Award is granted to those whose achievements have
been recognized as outstanding. Also, JSME Awards for Young Engineers are
presented to a number of excellent young engineers.
